Here are what my clients say

Maggie B.

Parkinson Exercise Instructor & Support Person, Exercise Enthusiast

A couple of years ago, I fell flat on my back onto a ceramic floor. For months afterward I felt pain in the sacroiliac (SI) joint in my lower spine as well as my hips and thighs. I tried to relieve the pain with exercises, stretching and even myofascial release using a traditional hard roller. Nothing seemed to bring relief. When I first started working with Gina Tai, I was deeply impressed with her compassion for me as a person and her deep level of expertise about the human body and pain relief. She is a gifted teacher and coach. Her explanation of the Roll Model method and why it works to relieve pain was clear, easy to follow and makes a great deal of sense.

Gina gave me a deeper understanding of how interconnected the systems of the body truly are and why an injury to one part of the body can result in pain or discomfort throughout my body. I now use the Roll Method balls before and/or after exercise or when I feel pain or discomfort.

Gina also taught me how to relieve the tension that I often feel in my feet. The first time we went through a session focused on my feet, I was amazed at how relaxed I felt throughout my entire body! I also struggle with migraines. Gina taught me very useful techniques for preventing and relieving pain in my head, neck, and shoulders.

Cole H.

Police Officer

As a Detective I am always on my feet for a good portion of my shift while carrying around a vest and belt full of heavy gear. When we are not walking around we are sitting and doing paperwork. After a long shift my body could be tight and sore. The rolling work I learned in Gina’s class has really aided in stress and tension relief in my body. Implementing the techniques after a long shift is easy to do as it only takes 10 to 15 minutes. This is my self care after a long day. Once you do the rolling techniques multiple times it becomes second nature. My most favorite routine involves the feet, the calves and the spine/neck area.

Johnathon E.

Associate Professor of Public Health, Runner

I try to run everyday, about 3-4 miles per day. As the old saying goes, you run between injuries, and I had a bunch of them. I had a lot of pain in my lower back, glutes, hamstrings, and in spite of the pain I would just keep running. I wasn't really finding a way to break through the chronic pain. When Gina introduced me to this work, it was a breakthrough for me and provided immediate relief. Gina provided a highly curated and personalized program. What happened as a result is that I stopped having chronic pain. I learned through the sessions that the right amount of muscle relaxation at the right time can mean running without pain which has been transformational in my day to day. These are a game changing tool when coupled with Gina's coaching.

Firefighter, Crossfitter

I enjoy working with Gina because she meets me where I am physically. There’s no judgment. She is an immense source of knowledge and pinpoints exactly what my body needs. The biggest result I’ve seen is that I’ve become stronger. I wasn’t always able to lift the amount I wanted. But since working with Gina, my body recovers more quickly.
